BGCA's ministries fall into three general categories, as you can see from the site outline at right. "Church Health" provides information on our churches and on how you and your church can take steps to reach your community more effectively. "Church Planting" details the varied efforts to develop new missional communities in Alberta that reproduce themselves and carry out our shared mission to impact our province for Jesus. "Camp" showcases the impact and ministries of Lone Prairie Camp, owned and operated by BGCA as a disciple-making and leadership-training enterprise.

BGCA Affiliations & Connections
BGCA is affiliated with the Baptist General Conference of Canada. BGC Canada is the national voice of our regional districts of churches, and also oversees our missions ventures in regions without an organized district (e.g. eastern Canada) and overseas mission work.
Canadian Baptist Seminary is our primary BGC resource for ministry training and preparation. CBS is part of the ACTS Seminaries consortium at Trinity Western University in Langley BC.
We also maintain ties with the Baptist General Conference movement in the US, now known as Converge Worldwide. Historically, we are cousins with the BGC-US. Theirs is a much larger movement consisting of over 1000 congregations. We cooperate with our American cousins to do world missions.
